Why your views matter
In compliance with the Schools (Consultation) (Scotland) Act 2010 as amended, Aberdeen City Council (ACC) has a duty to carry out a statutory consultation when it proposes changes to its Education Estate. ACC is proposing to rezone an area of ground to the west of Whitestripes Avenue in Aberdeen, from Bucksburn Academy to Oldmachar Academy, with effect from 1 August 2020. A public consultation launched on 27 January 2020, in order to gather the views of members of the public who may be affected by this proposal. What happens next
A Consultation Report, summarising the submissions received and the Council's response to those submissions, will be presented to a future meeting of the Education Operational Delivery Committee in May 2020.
