Overview

This session will explore why some children are in conflict with the law and what the common factors that can improve the life chances of children in conflict with the law are. We will also explore the systems that children may encounter while considering brain maturation and the impact of trauma for children in conflict with the law. This also looks at some of the national and local policy drivers, guidance and legislation.
