Closed 9 Dec 2019

Opened 11 Nov 2019

Overview

The Draft Technical Advice Note: Materials document provides a review of the historic and contemporary use of materials in Aberdeen and provides technical guidance on a selection of different cladding materials and detail that could be used in the external walls and roofs of new buildings across the city, which add to it’s sense of place and identity.

Why your views matter

The Draft document was approved for public consultation by Members of the Planning and Development Management Committee on 19 September 2019. Everyone has the chance to comment on the draft document, and these comments will shape the content, before it is finalised and reported back to a future meeting of this same Committee in early 2020.

What happens next

The finalised document will be reported back to the Council’s Planning and Development Management Committee for consideration in early 2020.
