Overview

Seeking your views on the suite of Aberdeen Supplementary Guidance and Aberdeen Planning Guidance documents that will sit alongside and support the Proposed Local Development Plan 2020 (as modified), which will become the new Local Development Plan 2023, once adopted. The Aberdeen Supplementary Guidance and Aberdeen Planning Guidance documents provide more detailed information on the policies and sites contained within the Proposed Aberdeen Local Development Plan 2020 (as modified).

You can view the documents out for consultation from the link at the bottom of this page. If you wish to view a hard copy of the documents, please book an appointment with us by emailing LDP@aberdeencity.gov.uk 

Please note, if you wish to comment on multiple APG/SG documents you should complete a separate survey response for each document. 

Alternatively, if you are unable to complete this online survey, responses can be submitted via email to LDP@aberdeencity.gov.uk or by post to Development Plan Team, Strategic Place Planning, Business Hub 4 - Ground Floor North, Marischal College, Broad Street, Aberdeen, AB10 1AB.  Please ensure you state which document and paragraph you wish to comment on if you respond using one of these alternative methods. 

At the end of survey there is an opportunity to provide personal data. This is not mandatory to submit your response, however, the information will help us better understand the demographic of respondents and identify if there are any members of the community we are not reaching. Your engagement for this suite of documents will help us understand better if you, the interested party, feel we have captured your views  and have implemented them where we could, to improve Aberdeen Supplementary Guidance and Aberdeen Planning Guidance to support the Local Development Plan 2023. 

What happens next

Once the consultation concludes we will analyse the responses and publish the results in a report. Appropriate edits will be made to the documents before they are presented to Committee for final agreement and subsequent publishment.
