Consultation on how Community Planning Aberdeen and Aberdeen Health and Social Care Partnership are going to work in a more joined up way to do Locality Planning.
Community Planning Aberdeen is a Partnership of public service organisations in Aberdeen. The Health and Social Care Partnership is one of these partners.
Locality Planning is a term used to describe community planning partners working within a geographical area to plan for and deliver improved outcomes. This involves the development of a plan which seeks to make things better for the community.
Community Planning Aberdeen believes that working with local communities to develop and deliver these plans offers the best chance of success.
At the moment Community Planning Aberdeen and Aberdeen City Health and Social Care Partnership are both doing Locality Planning but have different arrangements for this.
Following discussions with staff and community members currently involved in Locality Planning, we are suggesting that Community Planning Aberdeen and Aberdeen Health and Social Care Partnership join up on Locality Planning.
We want to consult with a broader range of stakeholders and communities on our specific recommendations for improvement.
We will consider your feedback in making final recommendations to the Health and Social Care Integration Joint Board on 1 December 2020 and Community Planning Aberdeen Board on 3 December 2020.
