Copy of Getting It Right For Everyone (GIRFE) Transitions & Older People with Frailty Session

Closed 10 Oct 2023

Opened 22 Sep 2023

Overview

In line with the Scottish Governments national development work around 'Getting It Right For Everyone' (GIRFE) we are looking for your participation in a creative thinking session around how we can get it right for older people with frailty and children with a learning disability moving on from school (transitioning) into adult life and beyond.

Why your views matter

Your views matter on any and all subjects impacting on public life. Please come along and share your valuable opinions, experience and insights so that we can all work together to create the change that is needed.

Whether you are a parent or carer of a child with a learning disability, a carer, a member of the public or a professional stakeholder we want to hear from you to help us make the changes you want to see.

What happens next

The views and ideas you share with us will help a great deal.

They will be used to shape the improvements needed to better support you and your child, to move on from school. They will also be used to help the Scottish Government achieve its national objectives around GIRFE.

This is not a 'one off' activity - we hope to find more opportunities to engage with you so you can share your insights and ideas in a supportive environment.
