Draft George Street Mini Masterplan – Strategic Environmental Assessment Environmental Report

The Environmental Assessment (Scotland) Act 2005 NOTICE

Section 16 (Consultation Procedures)

Aberdeen City Council has prepared the Draft George Street Mini Masterplan, which was approved for consultation at Council of 14 December 2022, in accordance with Section 8(1) of the Environmental Assessment (Scotland) Act 2005.

In March and April 2023 an online survey took place seeking opinion on the content of the Draft Mini Masterplan to shape the content of a finalised Draft George Street Masterplan. At that time, a non-technical Environmental Report summary was provided to give an overview on the likely significant environmental impacts to the area upon implementation of the draft masterplan projects.

In accordance with the Environmental Assessment (Scotland) Act 2005 the Draft Environmental Report has identified, described, and evaluated the likely significant effect on the environment the masterplan area, and the consultation findings as well as a finalised Draft Masterplan etc, are to be presented to Council before December 2023.
