Why your views matter
In compliance with the Schools (Consultation) (Scotland) Act 2010 as amended, Aberdeen City Council (ACC) has a duty to carry out a statutory consultation when it proposes changes to its education estate. ACC is proposing to merge the existing secondary school catchment areas for Hazlehead, Countesswells and Kingswells, to form a new catchment area to be served by the planned replacement building for Hazlehead Academy. What happens next
A Consultation Report, summarising the submissions received and the Council's response to those submissions, will be presented to a future meeting of the Education and Children's Services Committee in July 2024.
