Traffic Management and Developer Related Proposals
Overview
The attached document contains various traffic management proposals throughout the city. As part of the statutory consultation process we are seeking public views on these proposed measures.
Anyone wishing to object to any of the orders contained in this document should send details of the order(s) they are objecting to, the grounds for objection, including their name and address, in writing to the address below, or, by e-mail to trafficmanagement@aberdeencity.gov.uk during the statutory objection period.
Any person who submits an objection to a road traffic order should be aware that any objection made will be available to members of the Committee, available for inspection by members of the public, distributed to the press, and will form part of the agenda pack which is available on the Council’s website. To that extent, however, they are redacted, with names, addresses, telephone numbers and signatures removed from this correspondence.

Why your views matter
Consultation is undertaken in accordance with “The Local Authorities' Traffic Orders (Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 1999”; this provides members of the public and representatives of businesses, organisations etc. with the opportunity to view proposed Traffic Regulation Orders and make comment / lodge an objection.
What happens next
Proposals for Traffic Regulation Orders (TRO) which have recieved no objections will be made under delegated powers and the works to have the neccessary supporing infrastructure (e.g. signs, road markings etc.) will be instructed.
Proposals for TRO's which have recieved objections will be reported to a relevant council commitee where a decision will be made whether or not to progress with making the TRO.
